Wash Laundry owns and maintains laundry machines hosted by colleges, hotels, and laundromats for a share of the profit.
This reporting application concept enables Wash Laundry and their clients to view reports of the profit and statements for their specific locations. They can also submit or follow-up on service requests.
Internal users of Wash Laundry may analyze profit from any client. External users of clients can view their own company only. All users can filter by zip code or a particular building they have access to view.
Iconography for a marketing and branding company.
My work process for iconography starts with hand sketches. I transferred the work to computer and completed digital explorations and variations, a few for each one, and received feedback.
I created a design system including the thickness of an icon, style, and more. I then applied the design system to each of the icons for a consistent result.
Amazon Shopping’s navigation and images can be overwhelming. I re-designed the site to make the information easier to find.
First, I wanted Amazon to encourage users to spend more time on the web site. I added the “Today’s Deals” section to the home page, rather than advertising Amazon-branded items.
The search page introduces a new system to increase the user experience. The current site requires a lot of typing. Here, the user sees Price, Rating, Prime or not, and Delivery time.
The item page organizes the data using an information hierarchy. I made the Q&A section easier to search, and I show the Q&A in two columns instead of one.
I brought customer images to the top of the review section because these are real images that can take a user to individual reviews. The right-hand side is dedicated to the most recent customer reviews, for priority information hierarchy.
I was inspired after I saw an article about a watch that analyzes sweat to track body composition. This user interface is for such a smart watch.
The Sweat Watch has a daily mode - date, time, temperature, and notification alerts of texts, emails, and calls.
In exercise mode, it analyzes sweat and heart rate in real-time to let the user know how hard they're working out and adjust future workouts for maximum benefit. The history can sync with the phone.

I tried to enhance the photography to emphasize that Tesla is a luxury car brand because they are already known for electric cars. I also used a modern style typeface to match the image of the company.
On the current web site, users have to click on a model name to see it. In my design, the home page has three sliding images, one for each car.
I want visitors to the web site to order the car based on its photography and sleekness, highlighting that the car is luxurious and modern above the fact that it’s electric, which it’s already known for.
Expedia is one of the top websites for searching flight ticket and their mobile app has been used by thousand number of users. However, their mobile app isn't as friendly as the website and the user experience isn't matching up with deskstop's.
This UX design is specifically focused on choosing flight date screen (calendar) to see how users can quickly pick flight dates and easily switch out from one way to round trips or between flight dates than the current Expedia's mobile app.
Magnetism is one of the most fascinating natural phenomenons. The purpose of this project is to create a coffee-table book for people to enjoy learning about the two different forces and interactions in magnetism in a visual way.
The idea is to make Craigslist user-centric.
For example, you must visit your craigslist link to see if your post is expiring, or login and search for that information.
With the re-design, I introduced a poster sidebar that lets a user manage their posts much easier. It also gives users a warning when their post is about to expire.
While every user who posts is likely a watcher, not every watcher currently posts. The sidebar encourages Craigslist users to start posting whether they did that before or not.
Of course, since almost every visitor is a watcher, the page encourages exploration with recently viewed pages, and photos of items from the most-frequently visited categories.
A new Quick-Post feature is located similarly to where Facebook has its own.
The main goal of this project was to create a package for a product using reclaimed water that makes it clear the process is natural, and not dirty. Reclaiming water can not only provide an alternative to using drinking water for irrigation, but increase the pool of available drinking water as well, by recycling highly treated wastewater. The focus on this exploration was to change the perception of reclycled water. Research demonstrated that natural refining methods were key, and reclaiming water from trees was one of the most effective ways.
Belleza means “beauty” in Spanish. Belleza Honey is created for female millennials who are interested in skin care. “A pure organic honey that can be applied to your face to retain moisture” can be sold to grocery, health & wellness, and beauty shops.
The purpose of this project was to build a new store brand with many product lines. Five designers collaborated to maximize visual creativity for three store brands and five private labels of aero. For a large-scale design project like this, it was important to maintain an association with the store, so all product lines needed to appear like they belong to the same source. Following this rule, all aero brands followed the same design system. However, private labels were given leeway to adopt their style to appeal to specific target audience, while living in the big aero system.

To create a complete board game for four or more players that’s fun and visual. The design has to be playful but at the same time stand out among other board games visually. In the board game, the goblins are drawn as much close as possible to their inspiration from Korean folk stories. They love drinking, and often make mistakes while drunk. This also allows for a back-story for the board game, and makes it interesting for those who want to learn about other cultures, too.
Yelp enables crowd-sourced online reviews of local businesses. The purpose of this project was to freshen up the previous logo with a friendly mascot making the new creation recognizable. Dogs are one of the most friendly and loyal animals, and Yelp helps loyal customers support their favorite businesses. Also, a “yelp” is the sound a dog makes. Various dogs were on the list to represent yelp’s new logo. The beagle was chosen because they are very playful, loyal and friendly.
The purpose of this project was to educate people about the Akzidenz Grotesk typeface in a more fun and interesting way. Akzidenz Grotesk is not only the most celebrated family of typefaces but also known as the mother of all sans-serif fonts. The concept of using flashcards for Mathmakz!denz came about because the typeface’s geometric shape reminded me about mathematics. I experimented with many different math symbols and colors for a cheerful and fun learning experience.
